The Denver Broncos are considering whether to move up in the 2026 NFL Draft to secure top-ranked players. They currently have seven picks, including the 62nd overall selection, but lack a first or third-round pick.

If the board and projection upcoming picks say do âI say go for it. **Tim Lynch** I mentioned him in an earlier round table, but the one prospect I am super high on is Texas linenebacker Anthony Hill, Jr. In my AI research project of determining players , Hill scored the highest of all players in this draft. Iâm all freaking in on the Broncos making a move to do what it takes to make him their top selection. **Ross Allen** Iâm fairly open to most moves this draft. If the Broncos feel like thereâs someone they need to get, then get him. Theyâre in a Super Bowl window right now, so it makes sense for them to try and be bold and get one of their top-rated players. So yeah, go get whoever or Sean Payton deems necessary. **Sadaraine** For me? Not at all. They can trade back for picks or take what is in front of them. Unless they are absolutely in love with a guy that they are pretty sure another team wants. That would be the exception. **Laurie Lattimore-Volkmann** If the Broncos have a guy they love and think they need to be aggressive to get, then definitely. But I doubt that happens. Based on the roster and the comments from Sean and George at the pre-Draft presser, they have a number of guys they like around all their picks, so I believe theyâll let the board fall to them and pick the best player available, even if itâs a defensive back. **Christopher Hart** Iâm most always a fan of trading back and getting more darts to throw at the draft board. With not having a first or third round pick, I believe that would be their smartest decision. However, I wouldnât fault them for being aggressive and trying to snag one of their top-ranked players.
The Broncos have seven picks, including the 62nd overall selection in the second round and six picks on Day 3.
Opinions vary; some believe they should be aggressive to secure top-ranked players, while others suggest trading back for more picks.
One highlighted prospect is Texas linebacker Anthony Hill, Jr., who fits the Broncos' draft tendencies well.
The consensus is that next year's draft may be better, which could influence the Broncos' strategy regarding trading up or down.

General Manager George Paton acknowledged moving up was a possibility. The 45th pick was a reference point he gave in the teamâs pre-draft presser. I have no doubt that he has engaged in preliminary talks with other general managers picking in that area about theoretical costs of moving up.
The general consensus seems to be next yearâs draft will be better than this one. That could mean a potential trade partner would value or be interested in a future selection more than what Denver has on day three. In fact, I find it hard to believe Denver would want to use either of their fourth-round picks to make a move up the boards. Only three picks in the Top 175? Thatâs not much of a draft at all.
For the right prospect, I certainly wouldnât mind a move. They have a multi-year Super Bowl window. If they feel there is a guy who can help them win now, go for it. t I just hope they would use future capital and leave the rest of their â26 slate of picks alone. ***What do you think, Broncos Country?*** Do you want to see the Broncos be aggressive and move up in the second round to get one of their highest-rated playres? Let me know what you think in the comments section.
