The DBN Community NFL Mock Draft is nearing the end of the first round, but this really does seem like a stacked first round this year as big names continue to come off the board late. We are releasing four picks at a time in one post to give you more substance to digest how the draft is unfolding. Here you can see all of our NFL mock draft coverage for the Cleveland Browns.
Now, letâs see what the 25-28 picks are.
The selection and write-up were made by Fluke_back_on_target:
The Chicago Bears have turned the corner and have drafted a defensive player in the first round in the last seven years.
That trend will continue. They lost S Kevin Byard and S Jaquan Brisker in free agency, and sure enough, S Emmanuel McNeil-Warren is sitting there still at No. 25.
McNeil-Warren is rated as the 16th best prospect on Daniel Jermiahâs board. He is tall and long, makes big hits, has high energy, and is very explosive with the ability to make plays on the ball. Itâs a perfect storm when a need falls right in your lap.
The selection and write-up were made by Swagnasty:
This selection feels particularly unpredictable. The Buffalo Bills could use a lot of help on defense, and I looked at all the best remaining players at each position; none of them would be a bad pick here. That said, Iâm giving into the vibes. Please, please, please give Josh Allen someone reliable to throw the ball to.
Boston is a strong and balanced wide reciever. He wants the ball, he gets the ball. For the Bills, this will provide an outside and red zone threat who opens up a lot of possibilities. They spread the ball around, but this feels to me like a consequence of having no truly trusted option rather than an intentionally diversified attack. At best, Boston will be that do-it-all receiver who can draw the focus every play and give better opportunities to his talented-but-unfulfilled teammates. At worst, there is a risk that heâs a high-floor, low-ceiling possession type receiver who is not dynamic enough to make the big plays. Still, Iâm going with my gut and taking a shot at turning the Billsâ offense from good to great.
The selection and write-up were made by Jared Mueller:
While Trent Williams is likely to stick around for another season or two, the San Francisco 49ers need to start their process of rebuilding key positions that are aging quickly.
Iheanachor has some amazing athletic traits, which could develop behind Williams or play right away if needed. Long-term, Iheanachor could be the best tackle in this class, especially getting a chance to learn behind someone like Williams.
The selection and write-up were made by Tmartin5785:
When looking at the board, I was surprised to see Jermod McCoy still on the board at No. 28. He has true CB1 upside, and if not for the injury, he would be a top 10 pick. He is truly the best player available for the Texans.
There are bigger holes at offensive guard and defensive tackle, but none of the remaining players are good enough prospects to move off of the BPA in McCoy. He fits DeMeco Ryansâ defense and has true star upside. The Texans can come back later and pick up a defensive tackle and offensive guard in the middle rounds, but McCoy was too good of a value to pass up at No. 28.
Up next will be the 29-32 picks in the 2026 DBN Community Mock Draft.
