The Buffalo Bills had a first round of the 2026 NFL Draft that both loud and quiet.
The Bills were on the clock three times during Round 1 because of a trio of trades made by the team. However, Buffalo ended up moving outside of the first round entirely.
With the dust settled, the Bills now hold nine total selections after entering the draft with seven. Of those, two are scheduled to happen on Day 2 of the draft on Friday.

At 6-foot-2 and 326 pounds, McDonald is a big prospect that can still add to his game at the pro level. However, he is already considered a stout run defender which would also help Buffalo's No. 30 ranked run defense from last year and assist in the Bills' transition to a 3-4 defensive front under new coordinator Jim Leonhard.
The Bills have reportedly shown plenty of interest in Bell prior to the draft. Bell's numbers blew up in 2025 and he was a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award, given to the countryâs top wide receiver. With speed, versatility and size, Bell has the look of an NFL receiver. However, his stock is based off the level of competition he faced in college at UConn.
In 13 games played in 2025, Bell had 101 catches, 1,278 yards and 13 touchdowns. While a potential third-round pick, he could have plenty of time to adjust to the NFL game.
