Since GVV's surgery, his production level has been erratic, but he seems to be putting together some solid form as we enter a vital stretch of the 2026 PL season.
Semifinal #1: Gerwyn Price vs. Luke Littler
Winner: Gerwyn Price, 6-5
This would be the seventh time Littler and Price play in the PL this year, and Littler has already won the previous six matches.
The streak will have to end eventually, though, especially with Price being one of the few players to consistently give Littler close matches when they play.
A Humphries/Van Veen semifinal seems the most likely scenario, and it could be a determining factor in which player can make a push for the play-off.
At most, one of these players will make the play-off night, so they'll have to make sure they take away points from the other player, while also extending their own point total.
Final: Gerwyn Price vs. Luke Humphries
Winner: Gerwyn Price, 6-4
As desperate as Humphries is to get a night win this year, it's going to be a tough task, as Price already has two wins himself.
If Price can get through Littler and Clayton, the two best players so far in the PL this season, I don't see why he wouldn't be able to get by a shaky version of Humphries in the final.
