Eighteen months of marathon CBA negotiations culminated in a historic deal early March, and the condensed WNBA offseason was a sprint. The expansion draft for the Toronto Tempo and Portland Fire, free agency and the WNBA draft took place in a couple of weeks.
The results have us excited to see some million dollar players get after it.

The WNBA enters its 30th season with WNBA with a three games three games on Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9 and five games on Sunday, May 10. The regular season will be 44 games.
The league is expanding to a 15-team field with the the Toronto Tempo and the Portland Fire. Each team will make their home debut during opening weekend.
**Toronto:**vs. Washington Mystics, at 7:30 p.m. ET, Friday, May 8
**Portland:**vs. Chicago Sky, 9 p.m. ET Saturday, May 9
The 2025 WNBA Champion Las Vegas Aces will host a 2025 WNBA Finals rematch against the Phoenix Mercury opening weekend. The teams will face-off four times this season:
