Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.
Four-star running back Trey Martin named Tennessee in his top five schools, along with Ole Miss, Alabama, LSU, Florida and Ohio State, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.
The 5-foot-10, 202-pound prospect is from Franklin Parish High School in Winnsboro, Louisiana. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 13 running back in the class and No. 10 player in Louisiana.
Tennessee offered Martin a scholarship on Nov. 5, 2025. He will officially visit the Vols on May 21.
Louisiana Tech was the first school to offer Martin a scholarship on Feb. 20, 2025. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Lamar, Florida State, Arkansas State, Texas State, Tulane, Michigan State, Tulsa, Houston, Memphis, South Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Kentucky, Louisville and Cincinnati.
Tennessee has seven commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker , offensive tackle , defensive lineman , quarterback , athlete , wide receiver and defensive back .
