2027 PGA Tour schedule taking shape as four tournament dates are confirmed

The 2027 PGA Tour season was rumored to see significant changes to the schedule but so far, things are quite similar to recent years.

The two Hawaii stops (The Sentry and the Sony Open in Hawaii) are off the schedule, as previously reported, but the West Coast Swing is mostly finalized with those tournaments in familiar positions.

The American Express, as things stand now, will be the season opener, but there are still some moving parts. The AmEx is set for the second-to-last weekend in January at PGA West.

Fans watch the action on the 16th during the third round of the 2026 WM Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale.

There's then an open weekend, which could be where the soon-to-be-renamed Farmers Insurance Open comes in. The Farmers' sponsorship of the tournament at Torrey Pines ended in 2026 and a new sponsor has yet to be found or publicly named. Sports Business Journal is reporting that Sentry is likely to take over as the title sponsor in San Diego. For now, there are no dates for that event, but the Jan. 28-31 weekend is still open.

The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am has an official date of Feb. 4-7, followed by the WM Phoenix Open, Feb. 11-14. The Greenest Show on Grass once again coincides with the Super Bowl, with the tournament's final round falling on Super Bowl Sunday once again. Then it's the , Feb. 18-21, at Riviera Country Club.
