The Class of 2027 recruits continue to roll in for the UCLA Bruins. On Friday, UCLA landed a commitment from three-star linebacker Cain Brackney, giving new Bruins defensive coordinator Colin Hitschler a new weapon to work with beginning in 2027.

Ever since Bob Chesney was hired by UCLA, he’s been recruiting. The Bruins now have the No. 18 2027 recruiting class according to 247 Sports, with Brackney being the fifth three-star recruit and ninth overall commitment.

Unlike Khalil Terry, the four-star safety that committed to UCLA on Tuesday, Brackney wasn’t a Southern California kid that decided to stay local for his college ball.
