May is ranked as the No. 20 defensive lineman and the No. 178 overall player from the class of 2027, per the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He is ranked as the No. 9 player out of Alabama, as Georgia is expected to stay in hot pursuit of the talented big man moving forward. May has been excellent during his time at Ramsay High School (Birmingham, Alabama). He missed his sophomore season in 2024 due to an injury, but returned in 2025.

The four-star defender recently when on visits to Florida State, Georgia, Ole Miss and more. May described his visit to Georgia as "great" and that he "can't wait to be back" in Athens.
Georgia continues to target some of the top playmakers from the class of 2027. May could commit to the Bulldogs in the future, as coach Kirby Smart and his staff are expected to continue their pursuit of the four-star lineman.
