4-Star safety Khalil Terry has decommitted from Notre Dame's 2027 football recruiting class, citing personal feelings as the reason for his decision.
There’s a lot of good recruiting news coming Notre Dame’s way over the next few weeks, but today, 4-Star safety Khalil Terry announced his decommitment from Notre Dame’s 2027 football recruiting class.
Terry offered no real specifics as to why, but he did say it was more about his feelings.
“Honestly, it just came down to what felt right for me. I spent a lot of time talking with my family and the people I trust, and just thinking everything through.
“It wasn’t an easy decision at all. At the end of the day, I felt like this was the best move for me, and something I could be confident in.”
In terms of the timing, Terry said it just felt right for him now.
While this isn’t something that we should just brush aside — Notre Dame should be alright here, and have been stacking talent at the position over the last few classes.
