Four-star wide receiver Iveon Lewis will announce his commitment on May 9, per Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett. Lewis will broadcast his decision live on the Rivals’ YouTube channel and the talented receiver will pick among five different college football programs.
At 6-foot-2, 185 pounds, Lewis is an athletic receiver with elite speed. Lewis’ top five schools include Georgia, Virginia Tech, South Carolina, Kentucky and Maryland. The Georgia Bulldogs have remained as a contender for the coveted recruit. 247Sports currently predicts Kentucky to land Lewis on May 9 despite the Bulldogs remaining in the mix, as a commitment from the talented receiver would aid the Georgia’s 2027 recruiting class.
Lewis is ranked as the No. 43 wide receiver and the No. 334 player from the class of 2027, per the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He is ranked as the No. 6 overall player in Virginia. Lewis was electrifying throughout his time at Huguenot High School in Richmond. The Bulldogs are a contender for the playmaker despite Kentucky being listed as the current favorite, as Lewis could be a star should he ultimately commit to Georgia.
Coach Kirby Smart and his staff have recently landed a commitment from one of the top offensive players in the country prior to Lewis’ decision on May 9. Five-star tight end Jaxon Dollar announced his commitment to Georgia on April 30, as Dollar could emerge as a contributor on the Georgia offense in 2027.
