San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy provided an encouraging update on his toe ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Purdy spoke to the media on Monday and said that the toe injury he suffered last season is a thing of the past.

“Yeah, it feels great," Purday said. "Like I told you guys last year when I came back, when I do come back from this toe debacle thing, I’ll be good to play my way of ball. That was the whole thing, and I did. Obviously, with some time off and stuff, and some more training and things like that, it feels great. I’m feeling like I’m in a really good spot.”

Last season, Purdy was dealing with a significant right big toe injury that he sustained in Week 1. Purdy missed nine games due to the injury, and he spoke about how annoying it was.

Purdy expressed in the past that it impacted his ability to push off, which caused him to miss time and deal with ongoing pain and recovery.

Brock Purdy Delivers Strong Season for 49ers

When Purdy was on the field, he played phenomenally, guiding the Niners to a 7-2 record. In the process, Purdy completed 197 passes for 2,167 yards, a completion percentage of 69.4 percent, 20 touchdowns, 10 interceptions and averaged 240.8 yards per game.

The 49ers finished third in the loaded NFC West at 12-5 and fell to the eventual Super Bowl champions, the  Seattle Seahawks, in the Divisional Round.

Purdy will now enter his fifth season in the league and his fourth as the starting quarterback for San Francisco.
