The Los Angeles Rams are picking 61st in Round 2 of the NFL Draft and may consider trading up. GM Les Snead has a history of being aggressive in the draft to secure desired players.
The Los Angeles Rams aren't slated to pick until No. 61 on Friday night, the 29th selection in Round 2. They have a much longer wait than they had on Thursday night in the first, which means a lot of quality players will come off the board before they go on the clock.
That is, unless Les Snead gets aggressive and moves up.
He's never been afraid to do so on Day 2 and 3 of the draft, often trading late-round picks or future selections to get a guy he covets. Is there anyone still on the board who would fit that bill for the Rams GM?
Here are five prospects Los Angeles should consider trading up for.
The Rams passed on receivers in the first round but Boston is still a great option in the second. He's the best wideout left on the board, one of many who could get drafted before the Rams go on the clock – along with De'Zhaun Stribling, Chris Bell and Germie Bernard.
Boston is a big, physical receiver who's similar to Puka Nacua in some ways, but in a bigger frame. He'd make a good WR2 when Davante Adams eventually leaves, while also contributing right away as a solid No. 3 wideout.
Hood is the type of cornerback who could excel in the Rams' system. Sean McVay said "if you're not tough, you won't play for us," and Hood certainly checks that box. He hits like a safety and runs like a corner, playing with an edge thanks to his aggressiveness and willingness to tackle.

Hood could wind up going before his teammate Jermod McCoy, who's falling due to injury concerns. Given the talent at this position, there may be a run on cornerbacks early Friday night.
Bernard is another intriguing wide receiver who does everything well. He'd make an excellent WR3 for the Rams and would be a nice complement to Nacua with his smooth route running and strong hands. Ideally, the Rams won't have to trade up for him, but if there's a run on receivers Friday night, they might have to make a move.
Stukes was someone who had a chance to sneak into the first round, according to some experts, but he wound up falling to the second night. As a 25-year-old prospect with some injury history, both factors likely hurt his stock.
But there's no denying his position flexibility, which provides immense value. He can play over the top as a safety, cover the slot and perhaps even play outside cornerback. The Rams love versatility, and Stukes brings that in flying colors.
Hill has one of the highest ceilings of any linebacker in the class. He had 17 sacks and three interceptions, along with 31.5 tackles for a loss in three years at Texas, showing how well-rounded he is as a prospect.
His athleticism jumps off the tape, which is why he would pair nicely with Nate Landman in the middle of the defense. He can be the run-and-hit linebacker who covers a ton of ground, while Landman operates as the true Mike linebacker coming downhill.
