While most of the hype will be centered on the 2026 draft class, the Titans added multiple undrafted rookie free agents afterward, and in the process, picked up some prospects who could do enough to make their way onto the roster.
It may be early, but here are five undrafted rookies who have a shot at making the 53-man roster.
Montgomery is an intriguing ascending prospect with untapped potential and should have a chance to earn a spot on the roster. A small school wideout, who has only been playing organized football for three seasons, he proved to be a mismatch at the Senior Bowl, and looked dominant as he dissected some of the cornerbacks drafted in this class. Not the biggest receiver, he uses his basketball skills to play bigger than his frame would indicate. He will have a tough battle to make the roster in what has become a crowded unit, but he has a shot to make it happen.
The Titans had shown interest in McCutchin throughout the pre-draft process, and seeing him land in Nashville as an undrafted rookie makes perfect sense. McCutchin has solid size and athleticism for an NFL cornerback and has flashed some potential in college. There are some questions about his ball skills after not recording an interception in college, but he is a prospect who could surprise.
It was a bit of a surprise that Fitzgerald went undrafted, and now he has a perfect opportunity to compete for the Titans. He has ballhawking abilities and some plus-athleticism, but there are some inconsistencies in his game, and he lacks the game-changing traits many teams are drawn to. Tennessee has not truly addressed the safety position during the offseason after releasing Xavier Woods, adding only Tony Adams to back up and . The Titans could look to add a veteran, but until they do, Fitzgerald will have every opportunity to grab a spot.

Banks is another draftable prospect the Titans landed in free agency and could come in and surprise in what is taking shape as a competitive linebacker room. Banks has some outstanding traits and looks the part of a sideline-to-sideline menace, but he must put those skills together. Talented but inconsistent, he followed up a solid four-year career at TCU with an outstanding season at UTSA, where he recorded 94 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks. While he will have to earn a spot likely via special teams, he could find a way to land on this roster in 2026.
The Titans are in need of some young offensive line depth and developmental prospects, and Leigh fits that bill. Listed as a 6-foot-6, 315-pound offensive tackle, he has seen action across the offensive line and displays guard/tackle position flexibility. An experienced lineman, he battled an ankle injury in 2025 after two solid seasons at Clemson, but flashed enough to earn an invitation to the East-West Shrine Bowl. He does need some technical refinement, but he could surprise. Tennessee has shown interest in Leigh throughout the process and even brought him in on a Top 30 visit, so adding him as an UDFA makes sense and should give him a shot to compete.
