The road to a CIF-Southern Section softball title begins Thursday with 12 High Desert squads aiming to hoist a championship plaque just like Hesperia Christian did in 2024.

From Division 3 through Division 9, local teams across the Mojave River, Desert Sky, Cross Valley and Agape leagues, there is no shortage of players capable of carrying their teams deep into the postseason.

Now comes the challenge every team waits for.
