The Green Bay Packersâ schedule is official.
Here are seven takeaways.
EARLY ROAD TESTS
Green Bayâs first two games and three of its first four are on the road. With star edge rusher Micah Parsons expected to miss the opening month, the Packers will be challenged early on. The good news for Green Bay is their first four opponents all missed the playoffs in 2025.
HOME COOKING?
Four of Green Bayâs final five games are at Lambeau Field. Those include contests against warm-weather Miami and Houston, as well as Buffalo and Detroit. If itâs a typical Wisconsin winter â and the weather is nasty â that should be a major advantage for Green Bay.
PRIME TIME
Green Bay has six prime time games, including five at home. The Packers host Atlanta on Sept. 24 and Carolina on Oct. 29 on Thursday Night Football, and host Dallas on Oct. 18 and Buffalo on Dec. 13 on Sunday Night Football. Green Bay hosts Houston on Jan. 4 on Monday Night Football and is at the Los Angeles Rams on Nov. 25 for a Thanksgiving Eve game.
The schedule includes several key matchups that will test the team's strengths and strategies throughout the season.

BEAR DOWN
Green Bayâs rivalry with Chicago hit heights last season that hadnât been seen in many years, with the Bears winning two of three games and eliminating the Packers in the Wild Card round. This year, the NFLâs oldest rivals will meet in Green Bay on Oct. 11 and in Chicago on Christmas Day.
MICAH VS. JERRY II
Thereâs no love lost between Green Bay standout edge rusher Micah Parsons and Dallas owner Jerry Jones. When those two couldnât agree on a contract extension last summer, Jones traded Parsons to Green Bay. The Packers and Cowboys played to a 40-40 tie last season in Dallas. This year, the matchup moves to Lambeau Field on Oct. 18.
TOUGH SLEDDING
Based on 2025 winning percentages, Green Bay has the NFLâs third-toughest schedule as its opponents had a combined winning percentage of .538 in 2024. Only Chicago (.550) and Miami (.542) have harder schedules, while Arizonaâs foes have the same winning percentage as Green Bayâs (.538).
Six of the Packersâ 14 opponents (theyâll play each NFC North team twice) made the playoffs last year. New England (16-4) reached the Super Bowl and the Rams (14-6) made the NFC Championship game.
QUARTERBACK BONANZA
If you like good quarterbacking play â and who doesnât â this is the schedule for you. Green Bay will face reigning MVP Matthew Stafford of the Rams, 2024 MVP Josh Allen of Buffalo, and New Englandâs Drake Maye, who was the 2025 runner-up for MVP.
Inside the division, the Packers could see Chicagoâs Caleb Williams, Detroitâs Jared Goff and Minnesotaâs Kyler Murray twice. Dak Prescott of Dallas and former Packer backup Malik Willis, who is now with Miami, also headline a loaded quarterback schedule.
