The probable status indicates that Embiid will likely play in the game, barring any late setbacks. The big man's final status will be determined prior to tipoff on Monday night.
Keep in mind, Embiid is also just over three weeks removed from undergoing an emergency appendectomy that caused him to miss the first three games of the playoffs. Prior to that, he was dealing with an oblique strain. So, he has a lot going on physically.
Embiid was able to battle through his various ailments to help propel the Sixers to victory in the first round, and he'll have to do the same in the second round if the Sixers are going to have a hope of advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2001.
