The Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers will face off in Game 7 on Saturday night, and Joel Embiid knows what the 76ers need to do to win.

Embiid is 0-3 against the Celtics in playoff series in his career. That fact was not lost on him when he was asked about playing them in Game 7. It will actually be the first time Embiid has had the chance to eliminate the Celtics. During Embiid's time with the team, the 76ers have never won more than two games in a playoff series against the Celtics, until this year.

“I’ve been playing these guys for so long,” Embiid said, per MassLive's Souichi Terada. “I’m tired of losing to them. So we have a chance to accomplish something special. They’re a great team. You look at everything they have. That’s a super team. We just gotta go in with the mindset that we’ve had for the last two games. One play at a time. Tough environment, but we’ve been there. We won two games over there.”

Embiid played just 38 games in the regular season and had not played since April 6 before returning for Game 4 of this series. He scored 19 points in Game 6 and had 10 rebounds. He was two assists shy of a triple-double. He understands what's on the line on Saturday night, but is confident the 76ers can go into Boston and win, as they have done twice this series.
