Tennessee basketball has secured a commitment from Stanford transfer Harper Peterson, a 6-foot-3 forward. Peterson, who has three years of eligibility left, played 10 games for Stanford and was a four-star recruit from California.
Tennessee received its third transfer portal commitment following the 2025-26 basketball season. Stanford forward transfer Harper Peterson committed to the Lady Vols.
The 6-foot-3 sophomore appeared in 10 games for the Cardinal from 2024-26. She totaled 17 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals.
Peterson has three years of eligibility remaining and suffering a lower body injury as a freshman.
She went to Stanford from Whitney High School in Rocklin, California. Peterson was a four-star prospect and rated as the 87th best player in the country, according to ESPN HoopGurlz.
She joins Liberty guard Avery Mills and Northern Arizona guard Naomi White as Tennessee's transfer portal commits following the 2025-26 season.
The 2026-27 season will be the third for the Lady Vols under head coach Kim Caldwell.
In two seasons as Tennessee's head coach, she has complied a 40–24 (16-16 SEC) record and appeared in two NCAA Tournaments, including the 2025 Sweet 16.
