WNBA training camps open with key questions for each team.

Holger Rune is already set to make a return to the ATP Tour, just seven months on from rupturing his Achilles tendon in Stockholm.
The Dane is scheduled to feature at the Hamburg Open, which runs from 17th to 23rd May. He remained positive throughout his rehab and moved quickly to get back into training following the injury.
Speaking before his comeback, Rune talked about what he’s hoping to achieve in his first season back.

Rune has already shown plenty of promise on the ATP Tour, and fans will be eager to see him back in action. He’s been ranked as high as world number four, but Rune isn’t expecting an immediate return to those heights. Instead, he’s focused on getting fully fit again.
“It’s been a long process so far,” he said. “And we’re obviously following very strictly what the people I did the rehab with are saying, and my strength in my Achilles is very, very good.”
“I just can’t wait to be back playing soon. I really missed it. Now, watching a lot of tennis, it’s creeping in me that I want to get back.”
The 21-year-old isn’t putting any pressure on himself to rush up the rankings straight away. Instead, he just wants to build match fitness and get his game back up to where it was before his injury.
“We haven’t put, like, a ranking goal or anything yet. But definitely my goal is to come back as a strong player, not just being able to play one or two matches, or I feel okay, maybe I’m a bit stiff in my foot after that.
“That’s not the goal. [If that was the case] I’d rather wait to play. So the goal is to be ready in Hamburg, fully ready, so I can play five hours, and not have any issues – the goal is to be back as an even better version than I was before.”
The Dane knows there will still be some rust after being out for seven months. If his recovery holds up well during his first few matches back, though, don’t be surprised if Rune finds his best form again sooner rather than later.
Rune was just outside the top 10 when he suffered his Achilles injury at the Stockholm Open.
Even after a seven-month break, he hasn’t dropped as far down the rankings as some might have expected.
The Dane remains inside the top 30, currently holding the world number 27 spot on the ATP Tour.
He’s still ranked ahead of players like Jack Draper and Arthur Fils, both of whom have dealt with their own injury problems over the past year.
During that stretch, Rune only made one semi-final appearance in 2025. He’ll be looking to collect more points and climb back up now that he’s returning to action.
