Coffey is a talented guard that could make a difference in the Tideâs backcourt next season. At 6-foot-1, Coffey averaged 13.5 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists last year with the Lions, and the playmaker will look to pick up right where she left off in Tuscaloosa next season. Coffey drew interest from a plethora of schools following her entry into the transfer portal, but the guard will ultimately join the Crimson Tide for her senior campaign in 2026-27.
Coffey played a critical role in the Lionsâ success throughout her two seasons at Lindenwood after transferring from Illinois State. The guard averaged a career high 29.4 minutes per game last season as well, as Alabama could easily turn to Coffey as a top playmaker on a consistent basis next year, one who led the OVC last season with a 52.9% field goal percentage to earn First Team All-OVC honors.
