Former Alabama tight end Josh Cuevas has been drafted by the Baltimore Ravens.
At 6-foot-3, 256 pounds, Cuevas is an elite tight end with excellent size and speed. The former Alabama playmaker was selected with the No. 173 overall pick in the fifth round, as Cuevas will look to thrive while catching passes from Ravens' quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Cuevas originally transferred to Alabama from Washington when Kalen DeBoer took the Tide’s head coaching job in 2024, and the tight end was a key contributor throughout each of his two seasons in Tuscaloosa.
Cuevas recorded 411 yards and four touchdowns across 37 receptions at Alabama in 2025. The talented tight end finds himself in an excellent position to succeed on the Ravens next year, and Cuevas may emerge as an everyday target in Baltimore throughout the 2026 campaign.
Alabama has seen various former playmakers selected in the opening rounds of the draft this weekend, as Cuevas will look to shine as a Raven following a promising two-year tenure in Tuscaloosa.
