Rice has yet to do anything that suggests that he's going to be an all-time great in New York just yet, but there's a lot of reason to like what he's done offensively. So much so that Yankees legend Alex Rodriguez actually compared him to another Yankees great in Don Mattingly.

I always hate to say that any modern player plays anything like those guys back in the day, but if Rice somehow has the career that Mattingly had, I think we'd all take it, right?
Regardless, there's a lot to like about what the young left-handed slugger has done throughout his early MLB career, so even if he doesn't end up becoming Mattingly, I think he'll be more than fine.
