Alexandra Eala has arrived in Stuttgart ahead of her second clay court event of the year, looking to build on her early season form.
Eala was knocked out in the second round of the Linz Open, but sheâs been putting in solid work ahead of the WTA 500 event in Germany.
The Filipina has been seen hitting with Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff as she gets ready for a first-time meeting with Leylah Fernandez.
During a fan Q&A session at the tournament, Eala named three male players sheâd love to partner up with in doubles.

When Eala was asked about who sheâd like to team up with on the menâs side, she quickly pointed to three of the ATPâs most recognisable players.
The 20-year-old didnât hesitate to mention Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz and Joao Fonseca as her top choices.
Eala hasnât spent much time in mixed doubles throughout her career, although she did win a bronze medal at the 2025 SEA Games alongside Niño Alcantara.
Of the trio, none have built their reputations in mixed doubles.
Alcaraz did take part in the 2025 US Open Mixed Doubles Challenge, pairing up with Emma Raducanu before the main event. Djokovic also played that event, partnering with Olga DaniloviÄ. Both pairs were eliminated in the opening round.
Alexandra Eala is already in Stuttgart for the Womenâs Open, getting ready for her second clay tournament of the year.
She went out early in Linz, but her preparation has been strong ahead of the WTA 500 event in Germany. The Filipina has been training with players like Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff and is set to face Leylah Fernandez for the first time.
During a Q&A session at the tournament, Eala shared which male players sheâd most like to team up with in doubles. And she didnât hesitate to mention three big names.
Ealaâs rise in popularity continued this year, with long queues forming outside her matches at several major events.
She also made an impression at last yearâs US Open, earning her first Grand Slam win against Clara Tauson in the opening round.
This yearâs US Open organisers will likely have her high on their list for a spot in the Mixed Doubles Challenge.
If that happens, a partnership with Joao Fonseca could be possible. Both players have had similar paths early in their careers and would draw significant interest from fans back home if they teamed up on a big stage like that.
