La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri met CEO Giorgio Furlani on Friday to discuss the club’s future plans.
Milan CEO Furlani reportedly met Allegri at lunch on Friday, after a morning training session at Milanello.
The meeting came after weeks of speculation about Allegri’s future at Milan, with reputable sources, including Corriere dello Sport, reporting that the Tuscan tactician is unhappy with parts of the management.

The Rossoneri sit third in the Serie A table, so they are well-positioned to earn a Champions League spot, especially after Como’s 2-1 away defeat at Sassuolo on Friday.
Allegri expects a few big signings over the summer if Milan qualify for the Champions League, and, according to Gazzetta, the club is eager to meet the coach’s demands.

According to the report, Milan agrees that the team will need a top-class centre-forward, a big signing in central defence and a new central midfielder.

The pink paper adds that the club’s management is even open to having Allegri more involved in the decision-making process and hope to have more meetings with the Tuscan tactician going forward to plan for the future.
Allegri’s contract with Milan expires in 2027, but there’s a clause allowing an extension to 2028. The Tuscan tactician recently emerged as one of the candidates to replace Gennaro Gattuso as Italy’s national team coach.
