âIâm really trying to make sure [weâre] breaking down doors and creating opportunity for those who are in the midst of their careers and coming next,â she said.
Felixâs transition into entrepreneurship began prior to the launch of her firm, with the creation of Saysh, a footwear brand designed to center the needs of women athletes.
The move required a shift in mindset, from representing brands to building one.
âIt took me a long time to find my voice,â Felix said. âBut once I did, it was important to really step out there. It was scary and terrifying, but I believe that it was the right thing to do.â

âIt was important to be proud of the work that youâre doing, to stand behind it and to do something meaningful,â she said. âIâm definitely moving with intention.â

âWe have no shortage of just incredible athletes,â she said. âThereâs such a rich heritage and these athletes right now are just so exciting.â
Among those she highlighted are Gabby Thomas and Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, athletes whose versatility and consistency continue to shape the sport.
Felix also pointed to the significance of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, noting the impact of proximity and visibility for younger generations.
âThereâs nothing like seeing the Olympic Games firsthand,â she said. âIâm excited for a lot of our kids to be able to go to events and witness that.â
In this stage of her life, Felixâs understanding of strength has shifted from performance metrics to sustainability and longevity.
âIt used to be so clear-cut: you win the race, or you donât,â she said. âBut now I think itâs really been about impact.â
Felix now evaluates success through influence and long-term change, not winning races.
âAm I having impact? Am I doing work that is meaningful and purposeful?â she said.

âIâm a mom,â Felix said. âIâm doing drop-offs and pickups, Iâm a business owner. I need something that is easy, that is grab-and-go⊠and it fits seamlessly into my life.â
