"It's a cool city," said Williams of Boston. "I feel like the weather's similar to back home with a lot of snow and rain, but I feel like the summer's always the best part of it – so it's a good city to chill."
"Not knowing if your name was going to be called or not and you know when it's a great team like this, it definitely made that feeling a lot more special, but it was definitely a great feeling," said the Kentucky alum of the draft process that landed him on the Celtics. "Even when you feel like it's probably not going the best of ways for you or whatever, just keep fighting through it and I'm sure something will definitely get positive out of it."
The Nottingham, England native spent a fair amount of the early 2025-26 NBA season in Portland with the Maine Celtics, however, occasionally getting some run with the parent club when the big man rotation grew thin before later making the full roster.
