Analyst Scot McCloughan predicts former Notre Dame RB Jadarian Price will outperform Jeremiyah Love in the NFL. Both were first-round picks in the 2026 draft, with Love going third overall to the Arizona Cardinals and Price 32nd to the Seattle Seahawks.
Will former Notre Dame Fighting Irish running back Jadarian Price actually be a better fantasy-football pick than his former teammate, Jeremiyah Love?
That's what one analyst thinks.
Both Price and Love were taken in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft -- Love third overall by the Arizona Cardinals, Price 32nd overall by the Seattle Seahawks. Although the two were used as one-two punch by the Irish in 2025, Love had gaudier numbers because he was the clear starter.
Former NFL GM Scot McCloughan, who worked in front offices in San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, says Price will actually be the better player than Love.
Given Love's stats and what we saw with our own eyes, that seems hard to believe, though an argument that Price didn't get enough carries to truly show his talent is reasonable. Love will also, at least for one season, be playing behind an offensive line that isn't highly thought of, and Price might get better blocking.
This author tends to think both players will do well at the next level -- we'll see if Price ends up with the better career, both overall and from a fantasy-football perspective, over time.
