The Cleveland Browns' quarterback situation has the potential to be the most-watched storyline of the offseason as Todd Monken looks to find his Week 1 starter.
Shedeur Sanders, Deshaun Watson, and Dillon Gabriel are the candidates, although many think it is a two-horse race between Sanders and Watson.
We've seen reports that Watson is the clubhouse leader for Monken after the three-day offseason program, but there's plenty of water to go under the bridge before a decision is made.
And for CBS Sports' Garrett Podell, he thinks it will be Watson who is the Week 1 starter.
"There is no quarterback room more chaotic than that of the Cleveland Browns,â Podell wrote. âIt's the final year of Watson's contract, and if he can still move around after two Achilles tears, he's the quarterback who has experienced the most NFL success with three Pro Bowl selections.â
The top candidates for the Browns' Week 1 QB starter are Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders.
Deshaun Watson is reportedly the clubhouse leader for the starting quarterback position after the offseason program.
Shedeur Sanders is considered one of the main contenders for the Browns' starting quarterback role, alongside Deshaun Watson.

Ultimately, it will be what Monken wants from his quarterbacks.
A veteran like Watson, or the younger Sanders or Gabriel, to try to find something out of the pair?
If Monken wants to win now, then Watson is the likely choice, but if he's thinking more long-term, then it would likely be Sanders, who started the last handful of games last season and fared just fine.
I think Monken will play whoever proves themselves during the offseason. If it's Watson, so be it. If Sanders proves his worth, he starts.
The big question is, who will be the player to separate themselves from the pack?
