SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Angelo State Rams baseball returned to practice today gearing up for their final two series of the regular season.
The Rams closed out their second to last home series this past weekend with a 3-1 series win after a nail biter on Sunday. The Rams now return to practice and look to continue consistency.
At practice today we spoke to a few Rams including Freshman Tate Greene, Sophomore relief pitcher Chance Douglas and longtime Ram, Christian Garnette. All three played a crucial role in the Rams last series win, including Garnette’s grand slam in the 2nd inning of game two of the series.
The Rams now turn their attention to the last road series of the regular season as they look to continue their momentum their final eight games leading into the Lone Star Conference tournament.
