The Los Angeles Angels have adjusted their pitching rotation, moving Reid Detmers to start on Monday against the Toronto Blue Jays. Walbert Urena will pitch in the series finale on Sunday.
The Los Angeles Angels shuffled their starting pitchers around for Sunday’s game, and will have Walbert Urena pitch in the series finale.
Left-hander Reid Detmers originally had the start, but will now start in Monday’s series opener against the Toronto Blue Jays. The Angels are still yet to reveal why they moved their rotation around, but Detmers threw seven innings just five days ago, so they may be looking to get the southpaw some extra rest.

The Halos recalled the 22-year-old right hander from Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday, sending left-hander Sam Aldegheri back down after his singular relief appearance against the New York Yankees during the week.
Los Angeles will finish their series against the San Diego Padres on Sunday, and will look to extend their streak to three series without dropping a set. After taking a convincing win in the opening game of the series behind another masterclass from ace Jose Soriano, they failed to generate any offense in the second game Saturday.
Now, in the rubbermatch, the Halos will have to step up to keep their spot towards the top of the division. They trail both the Texas Rangers and Athletics by 0.5 games, and could end the day in first place with a win.
The final game of their series against the Padres comes Sunday at 1:07 p.m. PT.
