Adell has been an inconsistent players for years now, struggling to find his footing at the major league level, but over the past year and change, he has grown into his own and slowly asserted himself and started elivering on his promise.
His abilities were fully display against the Marniers on his special night as he covered a good deal of ground and rose up high to take away runs from Seattle.

The Angels announced today the addition of a Jo Adell Home Run Robbery Bobblehead to the 2026 promotional schedule for the for the first 25,000 fans in attendance at the game on Wednesday, September 16 vs. Seattle.
On April 4, Adell made baseball history, when he robbed the Mariners of three would-be home runs over the course of the game, which the Angels won by a 1-0 score. An official look at the bobblehead, which will depict Adell after his third home run robbery of the night when he leapt over the wall in the right field corner of Angel Stadium and ultimately stood among the crowd with his left arm raised above his head to show that he made the historic catch, will be unveiled at a later date.
Adell was recognized by Major League Baseball for making the âPlay of the Weekâ for March 30 â April 5. Additionally, Adellâs glove from the game is being donated to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY.
