The right-hander is off to a fantastic start in his first full year of professional baseball, posting a 1.08 ERA through four starts so far this season. He has 25 strikeouts and just five walks across 16.2 innings pitched in 2026.
The Halos used the No. 2 overall pick in last year’s MLB Amateur Draft on Bremner, something which was largely scrutinized at the time due to the presence of players like Ethan Holliday and Kade Anderson—both of whom were still available.

Bremner has proven the Angels right so far, though, and will hope to continue impressing as he aims to make it to the big leagues.
The Angels could definitely use an arm as talented as his at the moment, too. The Angels have the fifth-worst ERA in MLB, and are in free fall having lost nine of their last 10 games. They currently have the worst record in MLB, and sit six games back in the division after 36 games.
The Halos have a history of putting their most promising prospects on the fast track to MLB, so Bremner could see some time this season if the Angels continue struggling.
