Another physical cornerback for Seahawks: 7th-round pick Andre Fuller, Toledo

The Seahawks reloading of the secondary with youth continues.

The Super Bowl champions used the first of three choices in the seventh round of the 2026 NFL draft Saturday on Toledo cornerback Andre Fuller.

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Fuller was an All-Mid-American Conference selection last college season. He had 11 pass breakups while starting all 13 of the Rockets’ games.

He follows third-round pick Julian Neal from Arkansas as Seattle’s new rookie cornerbacks. Last month, one-time Pro Bowl corner Riq Woolen left the Seahawks to sign a $12 million, one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fuller is the third of six picks in Seattle’s draft so far to have a top-30 pre-draft visit with the team. Fuller said defensive backs coach Karl Scott and the Seahawks “liked my physicality and size.”

“I love the scheme they run,” Fuller said Saturday afternoon from his family home in Port St. Lucie, Florida. He nickel cornerback inside, safety and outside cornerback at Toledo.

“I played every position in our secondary,” Fuller said.

“You are getting hard worker, one who will do whatever it takes to win.

“You are getting a great brother.”

The pick was Seattle’s second of the sixth round, and six of seven total in this draft following three trades down this weekend. Earlier in the sixth round, 17 sports earlier, the Seahawks drafted Kansas wide receiver and speedy special-teams ace Emmanuel Henderson. Henderson, a former backup at Alabama, was a kick returner plus outside gunner on Kansas’ punt-coverage teams. Seattle’s punt gunner from last season Dareke Young left in free agency to the Las Vegas Raiders this offseason.
