FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas baseball is at risk of going on the road for the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2022.
The No. 24 Razorbacks (27-15) have hosted a regional in seven of the last eight seasons, but with an RPI outside the top-20 and a .500 record in the SEC, there likely won't be any postseason action inside Baum-Walker Stadium this summer.
Arkansas got a key win on Tuesday, April 21, beating Missouri State 12-4 inside Baum-Walker Stadium. The Bears entered the game at No. 16 in the RPI, while the Hogs were No. 32.
There are five weeks remaining in the regular season, leaving time for a late-season surge. The Razorbcks will look to boost their resume in upcoming series against Missouri, Ole Miss, Oklahoma and Kentucky. Then, there's the SEC tournament before Selection Monday.
The NCAA Tournament begins May 29 with the College World Series scheduled to end June 22. Below is a look at where the Razorbacks stand in three postseason projections.
D1Baseball's latest projections came out on Tuesday, and that website places a two-seed Arkansas in the Tallahassee Regional hosted by No. 9 Florida State. In this forecast, the Hogs would open the NCAA Tournament against Kent State with the Seminoles and North Florida facing each other on the other side of the bracket. This group would be paired with the Corvallis Regional hosted by No. 8 Florida.
Baseball America also updated its projections on Tuesday and has the Hogs as a two-seed in the Chapel Hill Regional hosted by No. 3 overall seed North Carolina. The other two teams in this regional would be UAB and Binghamton, with Arkansas facing UAB in the opening game. These four teams would be paired with the Norman Regional hosted by No. 14 Oklahoma.
Arkansas baseball has an RPI of 32 and a .500 record in the SEC.

PeaRatings has a similar forecast, with Arkansas being the No. 2 seed in North Carolina's regional. The other two teams headed to Chapel Hill in this projection are Cincinnati and Navy, with Arkansas opening its NCAA Tournament against the Bearcats. The No. 14 seed and Super Regional pairing would also be Oklahoma.
