In a recent report, Fichajes claimed that Arsenal are eyeing a move for Freiburg midfielder Johan Manzambi. It has been stated that the Gunners are eager to get a deal done for the Swiss youngster this summer.

Manzambi’s Impressive Form In German Football

Manzambi has caught the eye at times with his performances at the heart of Freiburg’s midfield during this campaign. The 20-year-old has scored five goals and earned seven assists in 39 matches for the German club this season across all fronts.

The talented prospect is currently among the best young midfielders in the Bundesliga. Hence, Arsenal would do well to lure him to the Emirates Stadium this off-season.

His current contract at the German club will expire in the summer of 2030, which could make it difficult for the Gunners to sign him on the cheap in the upcoming transfer window.

Arsenal Are Eyeing A Move For Manzambi: Is He A Prospect For The Future?

Manzambi is a good tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to earn the ball back for his side inside his half. He doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the front foot and is a tidy passer as well.

The Swiss talent can chip in by scoring and creating a few important goals for his team. Manzambi is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also fill in as an attacking midfielder or as a defensive midfielder if asked to do so. However, only time will tell whether he can make a smooth transition to life in the Premier League.

We can expect Manzambi to bring more quality and depth to Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta’s midfield in the long run. He is good enough to challenge for a regular first-team spot at the North London club in the coming seasons.

At 20, Manzambi has got the potential to be a future star in English football as long as he continues to improve with each year. All in all, Manzambi is a prospect to watch out for in the future, so Arsenal would be wise to step up their efforts to land him this summer.
