Arsenal face another tough semi-final against OL Lyonnes this weekend
Arsenal are looking to replicate last season's successful Champions League campaign as they once again face OL Lyonnes in the semi-finals.
The Gunners will host the French side this Sunday before the second leg to be played on May 2nd.
Last season, it was the same way round with the Lyon-based team winning 2-1 in London before the Gunners romped to a 4-1 in France to win the tie 5-3 on aggregate.
This season will prove to be difficult once again as Arsenal know, having already lost to OL Lyonnes in the group phase of the competition back in October. Alessia Russo had given her side the lead before a Melchie Dumornay double turned things around.
As always, OL Lyonnes are in incredible form and remain undefeated domestically this season and sit a comfortable eight points clear of Paris Saint-Germain in the league (18 wins, two draws, zero defeats).
Indeed, only one side has managed to win against OL Lyonnes this season, Wolfsburg in the Champions League quarter-final first leg.
The German side came close to finishing the job in the second leg with the tie going to extra time before three late goals Jonatan GirĂĄldez's team ensured progression.
The Arsenal vs OL Lyonnes semi-final match is scheduled for this Sunday.
Last season, Arsenal lost 2-1 in London but won 4-1 in France, advancing with a 5-3 aggregate score.
The second leg of the semi-final will take place on May 2nd.

Remarkably, that first leg is the only time the French side lost since Arsenal's 4-1 victory and before that their previous defeat was the 2023/24 Champions League final.
Should the current Champions League holders manage to overcome OL Lyonnes then the small matter remains of a final to be held Oslo against either Bayern Munich or Barcelona.
Perhaps we could see a repeat of last year's final, Arsenal will surely hope for one.
