Yet the 27-year-old is feeling positive about his situation after an impressive cameo against West Ham, in which he assisted Arsenal’s vital winning goal.

The good news for Arsenal’s recurring-injury strugglers is that the Gunners only have one game a week for the remainder of the season. In fact, the team don’t have a game at all this week, with Burnley having been moved to next Monday.
Everyone will have the chance to rest in midweek, which should help those like Odegaard who are trying to stay fit.
