Arsenal faceAtletico Madrid in the second leg of their semi-final tie this evening, with the aggregate score level at 1-1 after a draw in Madrid last week.
The Gunners are bidding to reach theChampions League final for only the second time, and tonight's tie has been billed as one of the biggest in the club's history.
It's been 20 years since Arsenal last reached the final of this competition, but the North Londoners are now just one positive result from sealing their place in Budapest later this month.
Arteta refuted the suggestion of pre-game nerves, and said his squad is filled with energy and excitement.
The Spaniard said Arsenal are determined to give their supporters a special night at the Emirates this evening.
"I can't wait. I mean, I feel the energy in and amongst the team, our supporters, so these are the moments that we want to live together," he said at hispre-match press conference.
"We had a lot of work as a club, as a team, after 20 years to be in this position again, and we are so hungry to get a game that we want tomorrow and go through to the final.
The aggregate score is currently 1-1 after a draw in Madrid last week.
The second leg is scheduled for tonight at the Emirates.
