Voting is now open for the Washington County high school athletes of the week, featuring 49 nominees from various spring sports. The voting period ends Thursday at noon.
Nominees have been selected based on statistics provided by county coaches for events played from April 6-11.
There are 24 boys and 25 girls in the running this week. Voting will remain open until Thursday at noon.
Boys
Henry Barber, Saint James lacrosse -- Barber scored two goals in a win over Indian Creek and had four goals, an assist and three ground balls in a win over Flint Hill.
Jack Burns, South Hagerstown lacrosse -- Burns had three goals and three assists in a win over Frederick.
Landon Call, North Hagerstown track & field -- Call won the 2,000 steeplechase (6:35.31) during the Woodward Relays at Georgetown Prep.
Jackson Coulter, North Hagerstown baseball -- Coulter earned a complete-game win, allowing three runs (all unearned) on two hits and one walk while striking out six against Thomas Johnson and had two hits in a win over Williamsport.
Parker DeBaugh, Boonsboro baseball -- DeBaugh tripled and scored twice in a win over Saint James, had three hits, including a double, and three RBIs in a loss to Brunswick and had three hits, including a homer, four RBIs and four runs scored in a suspended game against Smithsburg.
Antonio Dominguez, Broadfording baseball -- Dominguez had three hits, including a double, and scored twice in a win over Mountain Ridge, hit two doubles and scored twice in a win over Heritage and had a hit and two walks in a loss to Middletown.
Logan Harold, South Hagerstown lacrosse -- Harold had four goals in a win over Frederick.
Dylan Herbst, Smithsburg track & field -- Herbst won the 3,200 (9:58.71) during the Don Boyer Invitational at Middletown.
Carter Jackson, Boonsboro baseball -- Jackson went 3-for-3 with a double, a walk, four RBIs, two runs scored and two steals in a win over Saint James and had a hit, three walks and three runs scored in a suspended game against Smithsburg.
Cole Jesson, Clear Spring baseball -- Jesson went 3-for-3 with a double, a homer, a walk and three RBIs in a win over Walkersville and doubled, walked three times and had two RBIs in a win over Allegany.
Trevor Jessup, Smithsburg track & field -- Jessup won the discus (131-8) during the Brunswick Railroader Relays.
Liam Lunderville, Saint James lacrosse -- Lunderville had four goals, an assist and four ground balls in a win over Indian Creek and had six goals, three assists and five ground balls in a win over Flint Hill.
George Mantz, Smithsburg baseball -- Mantz had two hits and two RBIs in a win over Williamsport, walked three times and scored twice in a suspended game against Boonsboro and had two hits and two RBIs in a win over South Hagerstown.
Jay McConnaughey, Clear Spring baseball -- McConnaughey had three hits, including a double, in a win over Catoctin, pitched six strong innings, allowing one unearned run on four hits and a walk, in a win over Walkersville and had four hits, including a double and a homer, six RBIs and two runs scored in a win over Allegany.
Phil Naberhaus, North Hagerstown tennis -- Naberhaus won first singles matches against Boonsboro and Williamsport.
Cadyn Nesbitt, Smithsburg track & field -- Nesbitt won the pole vault (13-2) during the Don Boyer Invitational at Middletown and placed second (12-9) during the Brunswick Railroader Relays.
Miguel Perez, Broadfording baseball -- Perez had two doubles, a walk and two RBIs in a win over Heritage and had two hits, including a homer, and scored twice in a loss to Middletown.
Chase Sarber, Smithsburg baseball -- Sarber walked twice and scored twice in a suspended game against Boonsboro and hit a go-ahead three-run homer, walked and scored three runs in a win over South Hagerstown.
Torin Sitter, South Hagerstown track & field -- Sitter won the 400 (49.99) and finished second in the 200 (22.35) during the Don Boyer Invitational at Middletown.
Byron Snyder, Williamsport track & field -- Snyder won the long jump (20-2 1/2) and triple jump (40-11 1/2) during the Brunswick Railroader Relays.
Jaxon Teson, Smithsburg baseball -- Teson had two hits, including a double, in a win over Williamsport and had three hits, a walk and five RBIs in a suspended game against Boonsboro.
Evan Troxell, South Hagerstown tennis -- Troxell won first singles matches against Tuscarora and Smithsburg.
Micah Wilson, Heritage baseball -- Wilson had two hits, including a double, in a win over Lighthouse, had two hits, including a grand slam, a walk, five RBIs and two runs scored in a win over CVCS and homered and drove in three in a loss to Fredericksburg.
Caleb Wise, Heritage baseball -- Wise had two hits, including a triple, two walks, three RBIs and three runs scored while pitching a three-inning, one-hit shutout with six strikeouts in a win over CVCS, and went 4-for-4 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored while striking out seven over six relief innings in a loss to Fredericksburg.

Mikayla Bailey, Boonsboro lacrosse -- Bailey scored five goals in a win over Brunswick.
Kailia Burke, South Hagerstown softball -- Burke had a hit, a walk, scored twice and struck out four over four shutout innings in a win over Tuscarora and had two doubles while striking out nine in a complete-game win over Smithsburg.
Anna Chamberlin, North Hagerstown track & field -- Chamberlin won the high jump (5 feet) and placed third in the 300 hurdles (52.01) during the Woodward Relays at Georgetown Prep.
Jemma Chapman, Williamsport softball -- Chapman had a double, three RBIs and two runs scored in a win over Hancock and had three hits in a win over Smithsburg.
Lauran Finn, Saint James tennis -- Finn won a first singles match against Boonsboro and a boys first singles match against Flint Hill.
Kayde Gaither, Hancock softball -- Gaither had four hits, including two doubles and a homer, five RBIs and three runs scored in a win over Berkeley Springs.
Chloe Gietka, South Hagerstown track & field -- Gietka won the triple jump (35-8 1/2), was second in the long jump (17-3 1/4) and ran on the winning 4x100 relay (50.27) during the Don Boyer Invitational at Middletown.
Ellie Harrell, Boonsboro softball -- Harrell had two hits and scored two runs in a win over Brunswick and pitched a two-hit shutout with two walks and 16 strikeouts against Smithsburg.
Kimberly Hebert, Smithsburg softball -- Hebert pitched a one-hit shutout with one walk and 14 strikeouts against Williamsport and struck out five over two scoreless relief innings in a loss to South Hagerstown.
Lyndsey Keefer, North Hagerstown softball -- Keefer went 4-for-4 with a double and two runs scored while striking out seven over five innings in a loss to Thomas Johnson and had two hits in a loss to Williamsport.
Sydney Kulikowski, Boonsboro softball -- Kulikowski had three hits in a win over Brunswick and doubled, homered and had three RBIs in a win over Smithsburg.
Kaelynn Kunkle, South Hagerstown softball -- Kunkle had two hits, a walk and scored twice in a win over Tuscarora and hit a two-run homer and scored twice in a win over Smithsburg.
Skyla Mastronardi, Smithsburg track & field -- Mastronardi won the high jump (5 feet) during the Brunswick Railroader Relays and won again (4-10) during the Don Boyer Invitational at Middletown.
Isidora McCarty, South Hagerstown tennis -- McCarty won first singles matches against Tuscarora and Smithsburg.
Jordyn Miles, Williamsport softball -- Miles went 3-for-3 with a triple, a walk, three RBIs and two runs scored in a win over Hancock, struck out five in a loss to Smithsburg and struck out five over 2 2/3 innings of relief in a win over North Hagerstown.

Everett Sechler, Saint James softball -- Sechler had two triples, two walks, six RBIs and two runs scored in a win over McLean.
Emilia Spithaler, Smithsburg track & field -- Spithaler won the triple jump (32-7 1/2) during the Brunswick Railroader Relays.
Addison Tyler, Boonsboro softball -- Tyler had three hits, including a double, and three RBIs while pitching a five-inning, one-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts against Brunswick and pitched a two-hit shutout with no walks and 13 strikeouts against Middletown.
