Auburn Board of Trustees approve Jordan-Hare Stadium North Project

The Auburn Board of Trustees has approved the project to upgrade and add facilities to the north endzone of Jordan-Hare Stadium.

The Jordan-Hare Stadium North project has been approved after the Auburn Board of Trustees met on Friday, Apr. 17, to give the final approval. It is expected to begin construction in the summer of 2026 and is set to be fully completed by the spring of 2029. This will be the largest project in Auburn Athletics.

“The Jordan-Hare North Project will benefit Auburn for generations, elevating the experience for all fans on football Saturdays while also enhancing the campus community year-round,” Auburn Athletics Director John Cohen said. “We are extraordinarily grateful to the Board of Trustees for their final approval, and to President Roberts, Dr. Bobby Woodard, and Auburn University for their partnership. We encourage Auburn people to enthusiastically support the ‘Ever Auburn’ campaign.”

An additional 3,000 new premium seating and club experiences will be added, and it will remain at 88,000 for seating. It includes five new entry gates, 66 new concession points, 13 elevators, 270 restroom fixtures, dedicated on-site concessions, and premium kitchens.

For students, it will add to the campus dining experience with the introduction of Shug's Food Hall. It will be a modern food hall that expands the food options for students. On gamedays, it will be used for concessions for premium ticket holders.

“This project represents a thoughtful investment in how Auburn brings people together, not only on gameday, but throughout the life of the university,” said Dr. Christopher B. Roberts, president of Auburn University. “As a land-grant institution, we are called to create spaces that support learning, strengthen relationships and serve the broader community. The North End Zone addition and North Plaza will provide a central, welcoming place where students, faculty, alumni and visitors can gather for meaningful experiences that reflect the spirit of Auburn."

A creation of a sixth-floor terrace will allow a connected concourse between east and west upper decks with additions of food and beverage points. It will allow fans to experience a connected stadium experience. The Eagle Flight will now take place on the sixth-floor.

Premium additions feature 50 suites across three levels and include four new reserved club seating areas, which will be the Tiger's Terrace, 1892 Club, 1892 Legacy Club, and Heisman Founder's Club. There will also be the introduction of the Kick Six Field Club and Pat's Place.
