Rivers did not stop there, continuing with an even more pointed critique, “… Another Hall of Famer, not to mention one of the most lethal scorers of all-time and arguably top 10 player of all-time, Kevin Durant, the same guy you chased off because of your mouth. You talk too much.

“You are the backpack jumpshooter. The guy everyone leaves open. No one guards you. There are hours and hours of film of you being left open… talking about Steve Kerr hindered your career. Steve Kerr made your career,” Rivers concluded.

The exchange stems from a larger disagreement. Rivers initially criticized Green for saying Steve Kerr limited his offensive potential, calling that idea “ridiculous.”

Green responded by questioning Rivers’ credibility, even bringing up his high school career and suggesting that was when he peaked.

The feud has also highlighted how differently both careers are viewed. Green has built a Hall of Fame resume with multiple championships, while Rivers has taken on a more journeyman role before transitioning into media.
