Man City struggle but go top of the Premier League and relegate Burnley
Man City secures top spot in Premier League with 1-0 win over Burnley, relegating them to the Championship.
Eian Elmer, a 6'7 wing from Miami (OH), has transferred to the Wisconsin Badgers after averaging 12.7 points and 5.9 rebounds last season. He is excited about increased on-ball opportunities in Wisconsin's up-tempo offense.

The Wisconsin Badgers capped off a strong week last week with the addition of Miami (OH) wing Eian Elmer, who was the team’s top target in the transfer portal.
Elmer, a 6’7, 215-pound junior, averaged 12.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per game in a complementary role, while shooting 49.8 percent from the field and 42.7 percent from three. He seemed like an ideal fit with familiarity in an up-tempo, three-dominant offense, and the Badgers were able to win the recruiting battle over other Power 4 programs, namely Baylor.
Following his commitment, Elmer spoke with the media and shared why he chose Wisconsin.
“They wanted me to come in and have a big impact,” Elmer said, via 247Sports’s Payne Blazevich. “They watched what I could do at Miami. They said it matches the system well and they want me to come in and be able to do more for the team.”
“They get a lot of 3s up. They play really fast,” Elmer added. “(Wisconsin) was similar to Miami. We watched film; A lot of the actions they run, a lot of plays they run were things I was very familiar with. So honestly, I feel like my game is right at home.”
Another big part of the selling point? On-ball opportunities, which should be there as the Badgers needed scoring from the wing. That’s a difference that Elmer didn’t have as much at Miami (OH) on a very well-rounded team.
“I was more of a connecting piece at Miami,” “I’ll do whatever it takes to win. But I definitely want the world to see what I can do with the ball in my hands more.”
Eian Elmer averaged 12.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per game while shooting 49.8% from the field and 42.7% from three.
Elmer chose Wisconsin for the chance to have more on-ball opportunities and because he fits well in their up-tempo, three-dominant offense.
Eian Elmer was pursued by several Power 4 programs, notably Baylor, before committing to Wisconsin.

He should get that opportunity this season, and the Badgers are hoping for a breakout season in a new offense from their top transfer.
