Ball State men's volleyball has earned a top-four seed in the NCAA Tournament.
The Cardinals (25-4) were seeded fourth in the bracket reveal Sunday, April 26, meaning they will host the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament. They will have to do so off campus, however, as Worthen Arena is taken May 1-2 due to graduation weekend. Instead, the matches will take place inside the new Riverview Health Arena at Innovation Mile in Noblesville, Indiana, just outside Indianapolis.
Ball State earned a first-round bye, meaning they will not play until Saturday, May 2 at 6 p.m. The opening match between Pepperdine (23-6) and Fort Valley State (16-12) is scheduled for Friday, May 1 at 7 p.m.
Should the Cardinals advance, they would face off with No. 1 seed UCLA (29-1) in the Final Four on May 9, which is being played on the Bruins' campus this year. The two teams faced off on Jan. 17, with UCLA winning in four sets.
The other seeds are No. 2 Hawaii (27-5) and No. 3 Long Beach State (24-4).
