The Baltimore Ravens officially unveiled their 2026 preseason schedule Thursday, alongside the release of the regular-season slate, and it features two regional matchups and the debut of a new era in Baltimore.
New head coach Jesse Minter will make his preseason debut on August 15 when the Ravens host the Philadelphia Eagles at M&T Bank Stadium. The game will also showcase the latest phase of stadium upgrades as Baltimore opens preseason play against one of the NFC's premier franchises. Philadelphia enters 2026 after reaching the postseason for five straight seasons and remains one of the NFL's biggest attractions following multiple Super Bowl appearances in recent years.
Baltimore then travels to Minneapolis to face the Minnesota Vikings on August 22. The Ravens also traveled to Minnesota during last year's regular season and left with a 27-19 victory.
The preseason finale arrives on August 28 when Baltimore hosts the Washington Commanders at M&T Bank Stadium. It marks the second consecutive year the Ravens close the preseason against Washington, although this year's matchup shifts to Baltimore after last season's meeting.
One of the biggest storylines surrounding the preseason will be how Minter handles playing time for Baltimore's starters.
Former head coach John Harbaugh significantly reduced preseason reps for many of the Ravens' top players in recent seasons, especially franchise quarterback Lamar Jackson, who has not appeared in a preseason game since 2021. Whether Minter follows a similar philosophy or decides to give starters additional reps during the transition to a new coaching staff remains one of the most intriguing questions surrounding Baltimore heading into training camp.
