Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado, a graduate of the La Masia academy, is attracting interest from clubs in the Premier League, Serie A, and Saudi Arabia. After a strong 2024/25 season, he has seen reduced playing time and is now open to leaving the club this summer.

With each passing match, it is becoming abundantly clear that FC Barcelona manager Hansi Flick does not count heavily on midfielder Marc Casado.
Having enjoyed a proper breakthrough campaign in 2024/25, the 22-year-old La Masia graduate has fallen down the pecking order over the past year, with minutes proving harder to come by week after week.
As such, having previously been reluctant to leave the club, Casado is now willing to move on in the summer.
Even though Atletico Madrid, former suitors of his, are no longer interested, Casado is still attracting plenty of interest, reports SPORT.

At Barça, there is confidence that Casado’s valuation will exceed €20 million this summer, meaning the club could make a profit from his sale.
What is clear is that, if he leaves, it will be on a permanent transfer and not only a temporary loan deal.
So far this season, Casado has played 30 times in all competitions, clocking only 1321 minutes. Only 14 of those 30 appearances have come as starts.
As things stand, the La Masia graduate is behind Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, Marc Bernal, Gavi, and even Eric Garcia in the midfield pecking order.
Given the situation, a summer departure makes sense for all parties involved. And, with Casado attracting interest from England, Italy, and Saudi Arabia, Barcelona could be in a position to offload him for a significant fee.
