Barcelona estimate more than €80 million in fresh revenue from Spotify Camp Nou
The new Spotify Camp Nou is set to become the main economic engine of FC Barcelona and the cornerstone of the club’s future.
Within the club, there is a clear understanding that matchdays will be one of the primary sources of revenue.
Estimates are already being made regarding how much income the stadium will generate once the third tier is fully completed, specifically in terms of ticket sales,
As explained by journalist Adria Soldevila on Cadena SER (h/t SPORT), the club expect the new third tier to significantly increase annual ticketing income once the expansion is completed.
The use of this area will not be immediate. Barcelona have planned a phased opening throughout the next season, with the expectation that the new Camp Nou will reach full capacity, exceeding 105,000 seats.
The first section of the third tier to become operational will be the lateral stand, scheduled for October this year. This section alone is expected to generate around €27 million per season in ticketing revenue once fully operational.
The next phase will involve the main stand, between December and January. In this case, the projected income is slightly lower, at €25 million annually.
This difference is explained by how the space is used. Although season ticket prices are higher in this area, fewer tickets are sold due to the presence of complimentary allocations and spaces reserved for media.

Between April and May, both ends of the stadium, North and South, are expected to open, contributing approximately €20 million per season.
In addition, revenue will be generated from the four corner sections of the stadium, with a combined estimate of €11 million annually.
According to the club’s estimates, total revenue from the third tier alone will exceed €80 million per season, reaching approximately €83 million annually.
The new stadium aims to generate around €350 million per year in total, meaning that the third tier is not merely an increase in capacity but a key pillar of the club’s financial future.
The final phase of the Camp Nou project includes the installation of the roof, which is scheduled to begin in June 2027 and is expected to take between four and five months to complete.
Obtaining the necessary permits from the Barcelona City Council could extend the process, even after installation is finished.
