Barca are preparing to lose Robert Lewandowski this summer when his contract expires, and they need a replacement.
Barcelona’s first-choice target to fill the gap is Julian Alvarez, but securing his services might prove too expensive. Kroupi is a cheaper alternative.
However, Bournemouth are adamant that Kroupi is not for sale this summer, as they look to keep the talented young centre-forward.

There is no doubt Kroupi has the talent to reach the very top.
Still, Barcelona would be taking a huge gamble by placing the burden of replacing Lewandowski on the shoulders of a 19-year-old still learning the demands of elite football.
Lewandowski is not just any departing striker. He is one of the greatest goalscorers of his generation, a player who delivered time after time in front of goal for over a decade.
Barcelona cannot afford to downgrade experience and reliability for raw potential alone.
One strong campaign at Bournemouth is not enough evidence that Kroupi is ready to lead the line for a club where every match carries enormous pressure and scrutiny.
The jump is too big, too soon.
From the player’s perspective, the move also feels premature.
Bournemouth are giving him regular minutes, trust, and the perfect environment to develop without overwhelming expectations.
Another year or two refining his game in the Premier League would benefit him far more than rushing into a career-defining transfer before he is fully ready.
