Talks between the two clubs are ongoing, although an agreement does not appear to be close at this stage.
Bisiwu, who is under contract with Club Brugge until 2027, would require Barcelona to pay a transfer fee. Discussions are currently centred around this scenario, with both parties exchanging information but progressing slowly.
The 18-year-old wingerâs situation has been under close review by Barcelonaâs sporting department.
Contact between the clubs has intensified in recent months, including during the recent UEFA Youth League Final Four, where Barcelona continued to monitor the player closely.
A trip to Belgium in January by sporting director Deco and head of scouting Joao Amaral initially appeared to accelerate the process.
Shortly after, the teenage wingerâs agent publicly reinforced the growing interest from the Spanish club. However, despite early optimism, negotiations have since slowed.
During the Youth League Final Four in Lausanne, Switzerland, Amaral held a meeting with Club Bruggeâs sporting director Devy Rigaux.
So far, there has been no agreement reached, but a potential deal is still not ruled out. In Belgium, it is understood that the two clubs remain some distance apart in their valuations.
