Barca sporting director Deco has been to watch the forward in person several times, and think he has the qualities to “explode” at the Camp Nou. He has spoken with members of the Brazilian’s camp, and has even had meetings with them over the last two months.

Barcelona think he would cost between €80m-100m, making him affordable for them this summer.
